NWU attends UNESCO global futures literacy webinar

Northwestern University’s UNESCO Candidate Chair on Anticipatory Governance and Regenerative Cities organized a global futures literacy webinar that was attended by around 700+ participants coming from state, non-government, government and private educational institutions in the Philippines, Asia Pacific and other UNESCO UNITWIN partners around the world. Presentations, conversations here accentuated the role of science fiction in foresight, indigenous and community based foresight, city and regenerative futures in South East Asia, South-South foresight exchange and cooperation, visiting professorships and researchers, knowledge development, foresight communications and the organizing and the conduct of futures literacy labs in the country and the world. Watch out for the UNESCO series of futures literacy workshops in the coming weeks and months in partnership with other UNESCO Chair Institutions, the Asian Development Bank, the Asia Pacific Futures Network and the Association of Professional Futurists.
