COBE Business Review
COBE Business Review is an official publication of the College of Business Education at Northwestern University. The acronym COBE stands for College of Business Education. As a series, COBE Business Review releases multiple volumes and issues periodically, with each volume comprising themed issues that address contemporary business challenges and contribute to scholarly discourse. It is a peer-reviewed and Open Access journal that considers scholarly, research-based articles on all aspects of business, aimed at facilitating the global exchange of business theory. The series covers topics such as management, marketing, finance, human resources, employee productivity, consumer behavior, and related fields. Contributions from diverse educational systems and cultures are encouraged, promoting interdisciplinary insights within business studies. The journal publishes research articles as part of its ongoing series.

Aim
COBE Business Review aims to function as a dependable source for scholarly articles and research papers. It achieves this by advancing research publication at minimal or zero cost over time. This simplifies the publication process for researchers and scholars with limited financial resources. All published articles remain perpetually open access. They are archived for enduring availability to subsequent generations.
Scope of Publication
COBE Business Review operates as a series centered on business disciplines. It features a broad publication scope. The journal invites original research articles, reviews, and short communications. These encompass all facets of business studies, management, economics, marketing, consumer behavior, employee productivity, online commerce, and allied domains. Authors receive encouragement to submit fully original and unpublished works. Such works must avoid concurrent review in other journals.
Manuscript Submission Overview
COBE Business Review places no limits on manuscript length. The text must prove concise and comprehensive. Authors must furnish complete experimental details. This provision allows for result reproduction. Manuscripts submitted to COBE Business Review require originality. They must evade prior publication or simultaneous consideration elsewhere.
Submission Process
Manuscripts for COBE Business Review should be submitted online through OJS or on-site through the UCRD. The submitting author, who is generally the corresponding author, is responsible for the manuscript during the submission and peer-review process. The submitting author must ensure that all eligible co-authors have been included in the author list and that they have all read and approved the submitted version of the manuscript. To submit the manuscript, register and log in to the submission website. All co-authors can see the manuscript details in the submission system, if they register and log in using the e-mail address provided during manuscript submission.
Proposed Publication Date
COBE Business Review will be published annually, with issues released collectively once a year.

Peer Review Process
All researches submitted to COBE Business Review must abide by the scope, and author guidelines of this journal. The submitted manuscripts must tackle scientific merit or novelty appropriate to the focus and scope. The Editor-in-Chief has the right to reject articles that do not meet the theme or the requirements. All manuscripts must rid from plagiarism content. All authors are suggested to use plagiarism detection software to do the similarity checking. Editors check the plagiarism detection of articles in this journal by using Grammarly software.
The manuscript submitted to this journal will be peer-reviewed with double-blind review. Peer Review Statement is ensured by rigorous and integrity, anonymous peer evaluation of each main paper by three independent referees. The reviewers give scientific valuable comments improving the contents of the manuscript.
The final decision of articles acceptance will be made by the Editor, on behalf of the Editorial Board according to the reviewer’s comments. Publication of accepted articles including the sequence of published articles will be made by Editor-in-Chief by considering the sequence of accepted date and geographical distribution of authors as well as a thematic issue.
Review Outcomes
Utilizing feedback from the peer review process, the Editor will make a final publication decision. The review process will take approximately 4 to 10 weeks. Decisions categories include:
- Reject: Rejected manuscripts will not be published and authors will not have the opportunity to resubmit a revised version of the manuscript to COBE Business Review.
- Resubmit for Review: The submission needs to be re-worked, but with significant changes, may be accepted. However, It will require a second round of review.
- Accept with Revisions: Manuscripts receiving an accept-pending-revisions decision will be published in COBE Business Review under the condition that minor/major modifications are made. Revisions will be reviewed by an editor to ensure necessary updates are made prior to publication.
- Accept: Accepted manuscripts will be published in the current form with no further modifications required.
After reviewing, all the corresponding information is sent to the author. In one or two weeks, the author finalizes the article and sends the final version of it to the editors’ office. If after this period the article is not returned (or the editorial board is not informed about any delay) – the article is refused.
Qualifications to become Peer Reviewers
- Reviewers must be an expert of the field (as determined by the scope of the journal).
- Reviewers must be at least Master’s Degree Holder.
- Reviewers must have published in a peer-reviewed journal.
- Reviewers must abide with the Reviewer’s Responsibilities Statement
Benefits of Reviewers
- Reviewer’s name and affiliation will be listed on the Journal’s website.
- Reviewers get a certificate as Reviewer.
- Chance to be a keynote or invited speaker in all of NWU’s conferences

COBE Business Review is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against any publication malpractices. The Editorial Board is responsible for, among others, preventing publication malpractice. Unethical behavior is unacceptable and COBE Business Review does not tolerate plagiarism in any form.
