Chapter VIII Realignment

Realignment is implemented to support operational changes during the pandemic. It is enforced to retain employees whenever possible and maximize knowledge, skills, and abilities to serve them best. Realignment is implemented in case of vacancies of positions yet hiring, or no full-time personnel is available for hire.

a. Realigning Positions and Staff

Vacancies created during the pandemic are filled up by realigning positions within the same category or job grade. If no positions are available for realignment, staff are temporarily designated to assume the duties and responsibilities of the position, whether full-time or in concurrent capacity. Qualifications of personnel who are subject to realignment shall be evaluated.
