NWU releases CARL-e and CARL-s Online Health Declaration Forms

Northwestern University now utilizes an online health declaration form for employees in preparation for the new normal contactless procedures on entering the school premises. This was launched on March 5, 2021.

This segment was added to the official website of the university, for easy access of the employees, students, and visitors. Students and employees are required to set an appointment before visiting and entering the university with the required health protocols, apparatuses and RFIDs.

Covid-19 Automated Registration and Login for Employees/Students (Carl-e/Carl-s) is the university’s strategy of addressing the health and safety concerns brought about by the pandemic. It is a system that combines online registration of the Covid-19 health declaration and attendance monitoring of employees. The online process limits close physical contact and touching of materials and surfaces at the university entrance,” Prof. Karl Lenin C. Benigno, Director of the NWU Institutional Planning and Organizational Development Department said.

CARL-s, a version for students (which is also integrated in the NWU student portals), was launched a week after.
