Saguday Chorale scores win at CHED Cultural Competition

NWU’s Saguday Chorale won 1st runner-up during the CHED 25th Anniversary Cultural Competition, held at the Regional CHED office in San Fernando, La Union last May 23.

The NWU choir group wowed the audience with their different style of singing Pamulinawen, an Ilocano folk song. With rhythmic dancing and nature sounds cooing, the group crooned the song in an energetic yet organic fashion.

The chorale group is currently being mentored by Mr. Sherberk Frez Cabrales
