Northwestern University’s on two-day foresight to strategy workshop

NWU is a UNESCO Candidate Chair Institution for Anticipatory Governance, Futures Literacy, and Regenerative Cities! Northwestern University 2015 established the PhilForesight or the Philippine Foresight Education and Innovation Research Center as a unit and hub to advance future education and research in the Philippines and has partnered with UNESCO, Asia-Pacific Futures Network, UNDP, Teach the Future, Tamkang University, and more.

Attended by President Ferdinand S. Nicolas, NWU Board Chair Liza Nicolas and VP for Admin and Planning Karl Lenin C. Benigno, VP for Research Eric Parilla, and the entire NWU family as we unpacked and explored the university’s preferred and long-term futures. Amazing to see how adept the NWU community is in futuring and designing innovations and generating way finding strategies for a better and brighter future.

“Learned a lot from this and was inspired by the insights shared by everyone. Even more compelling were the metaphors and values offered to sustain the energy and what to resist (weights) in the process. Can’t wait for the report to come out and excited about NWUs ongoing and upcoming future initiatives at the organizational, academic, research, and community levels! Welcome to the Future!
