III. GRADING SYSTEM

Grading system is computerized. Grading sheets are submitted to the Registrar’s Office within ten (10) days from the last day of examination. Students are provided with a copy of the final grades through their respective Deans.
Grades are not subject to any change except when it is proven beyond reasonable doubt that there was an error made in the entry.
Standard Formula in computing grades as approved by the Board of Directors as per Academic Board Resolution No. 2018-02 is as follows:

Preliminary Grade =0.60 (Class Standing) + 0.40(Preliminary Exam)
Midterm Grade =0.60 (Class Standing) + 0.40(Midterm Exam)
End Term Grade = 0.60 (Class Standing) + 0.40(Final Exam)

Final Grade = Preliminary Grade + Midterm Grade + End Term Grade
3

The Class Standing (CS) is the total of the evaluation of the student’s recitations, quizzes/ tests, homework, seatwork, themes, experiments, laboratory exercises, class report, projects and the like. Lecture and laboratory grades are computed as one, the proportion of which depends upon the policy of the college concerned.
