The Research, Community and Social Development Department in cooperation with the Organization of Business Administration Students (OBAS) organized the webinar on

“Community Based Research” The program started through a doxology rendered by the NWU-Saguday Chorale and followed by the Philippine National Anthem.

The guest lecturer in this webinar is Dr. Haslan Ottot the topic “The Subsequent Step to Community-Based Research” is to identify potential research as well as the approach of the proper proposal. It should pass through the ethical committee, inform local administration, run the research accordingly, and documentation including monitoring and the exit policy these are the steps to community-based research that are considered a very important process.
Furthermore, Dr. Ersa Tri Wahyuni presents the second topic “Case Study: Community Service” which provides community Service Principles in a Specific Regional Based, based on the people’s needs, issues, problems, and challenges in that region as well as the Synergy with other partners and multidiscipline, Structural Activities, clear output target and measurable and lastly, the Sustainability, complete and meaningful. With this webinar, participants gained another meaningful topic that will help the institution and extend their help to the community.
Lastly, Dr. Yolanda Lao, CCSD Director gave her closing remarks where she expressed her appreciation for the efforts initiated by RCSD collaborated with BSBA. Moreover, she also emphasizes the efforts of the lecturers for their participation. And it ended a successful webinar for all.
