NWU goes back online this ECQ

NWU strengthened its online communications at the start of August as the provincial and city governments of Ilocos Norte and Laoag announced the enactment of the Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine. Atty. Ferdinand Nicolas, university president, announced the immediate stop of face-to-face transactions with students and clients, and that transactions be made online via the NWU main and satellite Facebook pages, as well as its in-house Admission and Enrollment system and online portals.

The provincewide MECQ was from August 1 to 15, and was extended as a Localized ECQ from the 16th to the end of the month. This was due to the rising number of Covid-19 active cases in both the city and the province, at one time even peaking at a provincewide high of 566 cases on August 13.

NWU has its main Facebook page at fb.me/nwuofficial while satellite pages’ links of its different offices may be found at nwu.edu.ph/contact. For those who are to enroll, the Admissions Online System may be logged into at apps.nwu.edu.ph/admission.
