| Former NWU Legal Assistant, Three Others Pass Bar Exams |
 Northwestern University produced four new lawyers after its graduates successfully passed the bar examination given September 2009 in Manila.The new lawyers are Joel P. Dadis, Bernadette B. Espejo, Kalvin Henson S. Pascual, and Wellah R. Singson. Dadis was the former university legal assistant. The new lawyers are among the 1,451 successful examinees who passed from the 5,903 who took the exams. Unlike the traditional bar exam set-up where one examiner is designated to each of the eight subjects, the 2009 bar exam was the first time where two examiners were assigned to prepare the questions. This made the examination into two parts.
