| NWU helps 4th Year High School Students in Career Planning |

The Guidance Center and NWU-PESO in cooperation with the High School Department conducted a Career Day Program last February 25 and 26 to assist the NWU-LHS 4th year high school students in making career plans. The two-day program started with the career planning seminar at the Old Media Hall. Deans of different colleges were invited to talk about their course offerings with the hopes of directing and guiding the students in making the right career choices. Topics discussed were Knowing Myself; My Career Options; and Decision Making Processes. On the second day, the students went off on a campus field trip to different local businesses to observe a variety of jobs. They visited business institutions like Fort Ilocandia Resort Hotel, Air Transportation Office, PNP-Provincial Office, Coca Cola Bottlers Incorporation-San Nicolas, and INEC-Dingras. |
