URC evaluates Completed Researches and Proposals
On Completed Researches
A review on the three completed researches was done at the NWU Exhibit Room last March 2, 2010. University Research Committee members SVPAA Dr. Lori Marseli De Castro, UCRD Director Dr. Estrella Calixto and CTE/VJSSGS Dean Dr. Elsie Pilar served as the panel.

Presentors were: VPRCEIAD Dr. Rudy Bareng on Organizational Capacity of Operating Cooperatives in the Province of Ilocos Norte, CCJE College Secretary Mrs. Jonah Badua on The On-the-Job Training Program of the College of Criminal Justice Education of Northwestern University as evaluated by the graduates employed in the Tri-Bureaus and UCRD Researcher Engr. Joseph Allan Gamiao on The Ambient Temperature Effects of Bricks on a Concrete Built House.
Restructuring of the CEC Plans
The Community Extension Center came up with a master plan in the implementation of extension programs to be aligned to the thrust of the government under RA 7160, Local Government Code of 1991, Section 17 Extension and in-site research services (for municipalities) are channelled preferably through cooperatives and provide (for the province) assistance in the organization of farmers and fishermen’s cooperatives and other collective organizations as well as transfer of technology.
NWU's first rolling store officially started its full operation last January 15, 2010. Green Patch or "a portion of an agricultural land" was designed and constructed by VP-RCEIAD Dr. Rudy Bareng and RCEIAD Technology Development Asst. Engr. Lloyd Delaraga. Its initial budget was Php. 22, 640.00 but it was extended during the construction of the project.
