NWU President Ben A. Nicolas approved the implementation of the “No Tuition Fee Increase” as the University opens its admission to freshmen, transferees and existing students this coming school year 2009-2010. 
The College of Criminal Justice Education tallied a high record of 63 percent passing rate in the recent board exams for Criminology last April 16-18. Under the B cluster which consists of schools with 50-90 examinees, NWU is the school with the highest rating for passers nationwide. The National passing rate is at 31.6%. 
Still remains as the province’s top producer of nurses 
A delegation from Saint Stephen University (SSU), consisting of 28 students, plus 4 faculties, visited Northwestern University in February 2-8 for a week long stay of lectures, travels, cross-cultural exchanges, and of course, some fun on the side.
