Northwestern University in not only committed to give excellent quality education but to be actively involve through selfless service and volunteerism on different community extension and social involvement. This is the university’s way to make visible in the communities around it extending its social obligation through the literacy programs, livelihood education, health, environmental awareness campaign conducted to adapted communities and barangays.

Capacity building programs include seminars on Senior Citizen’s Right and privileges, VAWC, Drug education, computer literacy, proper waste segregation, fire prevention and among others as well community services like dental and medical services, coastal clean-up and tree planting activities. The said ativities are sponsored by both the academic division and the non-academic divisions.
